Gwyneth Asstrow: A Filmography
We at Fametracker were surprised by recent reports that Gwyneth Paltrow dislikes her new movie, View from the Top, so much that, during filming, she privately referred to it as "A View From My Ass." (That is, until the film's producers reportedly asked her to stop.)
It's not that we're surprised she hates the movie -- everyone seems to -- but rather that she managed to pun off the film's title so cleverly in order to voice her displeasure. Who knew she was channeling Oscar Wilde?
Perhaps we shouldn't be too shocked; after all, it's not the first of Paltrow's movie titles that makes reference to her ass: she made Flesh and Bone in 1993. (Boom-cha! Thank you!)
But given how many of Paltrow's movies are, like View from the Top, pretty unwatchable, we decided to apply her brand of cunning verbal chicanery to the titles of a few more of her more regrettable films. Below, the results.
Shakespeare in Love / Shakespeare in My Ass
